    POSITION SUMMARY

    To partner and collaborate closely with Division Leadership and Corporate Finance teams to drive operational and financial excellence. This role involves leading the administrative, risk management, financial planning, accounting, and budgeting functions for the division. In this critical role, you will be an integral part of the growth and expansion of the Division's financial and market potential.



    What you’ll do:

    1. Partnering with Division Leaders to set and implement division objectives aligned with corporate goals.
    2. Providing consultation and training to division and operational leaders on financial matters.
    3. Collaborating with department leaders to develop and meet budgets, prepare expense forecasts, and track spending against budgets.
    4. Researching and interpreting accounting policy, ensuring compliance with corporate policy, state and federal laws, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
    5. Managing processes to support customer and subcontractor relationships and negotiating favorable contract terms.
    6. Overseeing daily operations to ensure the accuracy and integrity of accounting systems, operations, and internal controls.
    7. Optimizing business efficiencies through process improvements related to accounting and administrative operations.
    8. Ensuring timely and accurate reporting of financial and operations data to support job cost management, forecasting, and decision-making.
    9. Supporting staff in effectively using ERP and related systems for project planning and financial management.
    10. Overseeing business compliance, including maintenance of local business licenses, management of insurance and bonding matters, oversight of union labor agreements, and participation in annual independent audits.
    11. Perform additional assignments as requested/needed.

    What you’ll need to be successful:

    • 10+ years of experience showing consistent career progression and tenure in the role

    What you bring to the table:

    • Bachelor in business, accounting, or finance, highly preferred.
      • Candidates may be considered without higher education degrees but must have:
        • 10+ years of in-role experience in a construction senior-level finance or accounting role and/or
        • The candidate is an eligible internal applicant within the Southland and Brandt divisions.
    • CPA license or candidates are preferred, but not required
