    Controller Opportunity – Lead Financial Strategy and Innovation

As the Controller, you will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer of the company, and have the opportunity to lead and mentor a talented team of 11, optimize processes, and contribute to the firm’s continued growth and success.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and execute strategic priorities for the accounting department, aligning with overall business objectives.
    • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
    • Lead external audit preparation, acting as the primary liaison with auditors to ensure seamless audits.
    • Design and implement internal controls to safeguard financial integrity and optimize workflows.
    • Manage the analysis of operating expense variances across key categories, including compensation, technology, and marketing.
    • Oversee regulatory and compliance reporting, ensuring adherence to all relevant standards.
    • Collaborate with leadership to evaluate and enhance financial systems, driving efficiency and scalability.
    • Support the company’s acquisitive growth strategy, managing purchase price accounting and integrations.

    What You Bring:

    • Experience: 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including prior Assistant Controller or Controller roles.
    • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred; CPA certification is a strong advantage.
    • Skills: Proven expertise in financial reporting, audits, regulatory compliance, and process optimization.
    • Leadership: Strong ability to develop and lead high-performing teams while fostering a culture of collaboration.
    • Mindset: Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, with exceptional problem-solving and organizational skills.
