Our client is a small financial services entity of a $1B organization that is looking for a Controller to join their team and oversee the finance/accounting function.

This is a permanent, direct hire opportunity. This role offers above market benefits, to include a 35 hour work-week based in DC.

Responsibilities:

• Manage payroll, cash flow, reconciliations, audits, and financial reporting.
• Oversee investment records, monitor trust activities, and ensure compliance with Board guidelines.
• Handle regulatory filings, insurance statements, and liaise with legal counsel on tax and investment matters.
• Address member inquiries, assist with product development, and support convention planning.
