CPVA Management, Inc. is seeking a highly talented Controller to join our growing team. This is a full time hybrid role that offers a salary between $95,000-$120,000 based on experience. The Controller will work closely with the AP Director, AR Director, and Senior Staff Accountant; leading and overseeing accounting operations. The controller must be team-orientated and willing to help others excel as well as focus on company goals and success. Responsibilities: • Provide leadership to the accounting team • Prepare and/or oversee preparation of financial statements for multiple properties • Oversee accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance • Work with Board of Directors, specifically treasurers, on financial issues • Liaison between Community Association Manager and outside firm for tax and audit preparation • Manage bank accounts, opening CD’s, investment accounts etc. with Senior Staff Accountant • Participate in onboarding and initial setup up of new clients Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting • Certified Public Accounting preferred but not required • Five or more years’ experience in property management accounting preferred but not required Compensation: $95,000 - $120,000
