As we continue to scale, we are looking for a detail-oriented Controller to help manage our financial operations and ensure accuracy in reporting, compliance, and budgeting.

Job Summary

The Controller will oversee financial reporting, maintain internal controls, and support the finance team in managing the company’s accounting operations. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who is eager to take ownership of financial processes and contribute to the company's growth. The position will work closely with the CEO to provide accurate financial data and insights for strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support financial planning.
• Monitor and improve internal financial controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure proper documentation for all financial transactions.
• Support tax preparation and compliance, working with external tax advisors as needed.
• Work with the Finance Manager to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize financial processes.
• Assist in financial audits and provide necessary documentation.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of professional accounting experience required.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Dynamics 365 and/or other accounting software.
• Familiarity with financial forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow management.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to financial management.
