  • Responsibilities

    We are seeking a Controller to join our team and take ownership of all financial operations. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Controller will manage our QuickBooks Online system, oversee budgets and forecasts, and provide monthly reconciliations to our external CPA. This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring the accuracy of financial data and supporting strategic decision-making. Responsibilities: • Oversee accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes. • Manage ACH payments and deposit all received funds. • Perform monthly reconciliations and provide reports to the external CPA. • Prepare and manage budgets and financial forecasts. • Create and present financial reports for internal monthly meetings. • Handle insurance reviews for company-owned assets and borrower loans, including placing forced insurance when needed. • Prepare payoff statements for lending transactions. • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and best practices. • Proactively identify opportunities for financial process improvements. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance a related field (required). • CPA or CMA certification is a plus. • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in accounting or finance; experience in real estate or lending is a strong plus. • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online. • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. • Excellent communication and organizational abilities. • Ability to work collaboratively while independently managing tasks. • A proactive, strategic mindset. Compensation: $70,000 - $85,000
