Join our growing team as a full-time Controller and oversee the financial operations of our club.
The Controller has the following key responsibilities:
- Direct financial operations and manage budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls
- Maintain all accounting records. Prepare financial statements and analyze variances
- Supervise accounting staff and coordinate their professional development
- Develop policies to control and coordinate accounting, auditing, budgets, taxes, and related activities
- Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, and oversee tax filings
- Serve as liaison to finance and other committees
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5-7 years of professional accounting experience, with 2+ years in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and auditing
- CPA or CHAE certification preferred
Skills:
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to monitor cash flows and analyze investment returns
- Proficient in financial software and accounting systems
