    Join our dynamic manufacturing company dedicated to delivering high-quality products and innovation in the industry. We are seeking a talented Controller to lead our financial operations and strategic planning initiatives.

    Position Overview: As the Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. You will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with accounting principles, implementing financial best practices, and providing strategic guidance to senior management.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
    • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with GAAP.
    • Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and credit control.
    • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
    • Lead the annual budgeting and planning process in collaboration with department heads.
    • Monitor and analyze financial performance, including variance analysis and key metrics.
    • Coordinate and lead the year-end audit process, ensuring timely completion and compliance.
    • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
    • Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and development.

    Qualifications:

    • Ability to work (5) days a week, with (3) days per week at our corporate HQ's in Chambersburg Pa.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
    • Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 1+ years in a managerial role.
    • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
    • Proven experience in financial management, budgeting, and financial analysis.
    • Experience in a manufacturing environment or related industry is highly desirable.
    • Advanced proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
    • Experience working with supply chain ERP / MRP systems.
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with senior management and external stakeholders.
    • Strong leadership and management skills with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
