    Key Responsibilities:

    Prepare and assemble accurate and timely financial statements and supplemental schedules

    Perform monthly close processes & procedures

    Prepare reconciliations for applicable balance sheet accounts

    Assist with financial budget preparation and monthly reporting – actual v. budget

    Oversee the collection process

    Oversee prevailing wage filings and reporting

    Apply knowledge of construction accounting

    Year-end Review support – producing schedules for financial Review performed by 3rd party CPA

    Develop and implement process improvements

    Monitor and calculate commissions monthly

    Act as a liaison between other departments and locations in reconciling intercompany accounts

    Help develop and maintain the job cost system for tracking job costs and preparing cost analysis reporting

    Assist CFO in management of the general ledger

    Provide and communicate accurate and timely information for decision making to management

    Assist in keeping books of smaller entities

    Prepare local tax filings

    Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited college or university

    3+ years of financial reporting experience

    5+ years of experience in the construction or manufacturing industry

    High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel

    Detail oriented

    Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks with deadlines

    Service-oriented attitude

    Strong written and verbal communication skills

    Strong general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and banking knowledge

    Experience in assessing, analyzing, and improving business performance

    QuickBooks, Sage or similar experience

    Prior management experience and proven ability to manage a team
