  • Responsibilities

    • Oversees the operations of the Accounting Department, which include accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll. • Overseas commission processing and real estate agent payments. Responsibilities: • Maintains a documented system of accounting policies and procedures; implements a system of controls over accounting transactions to minimize risk utilizing the company's accounting system. • Oversees the production of monthly financial reports; ensures that the reported results comply with accrual accounting methods and financial reporting standards. • Recommends benchmarks that will be used to measure the company's performance. • Produces the annual budget and forecasts; reports significant budget differences to management. • Provides financial analysis, including pricing decisions, and contract negotiations. • Works with external accounting Certified Public Accountant. • Files quarterly and annual reports as required. • Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements. • Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned. • Generate annual 1099’s and tangible returns. Qualifications: • Excellent management and supervisory skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Excellent organizational and time management skills. • Proficient in accounting and tax preparation software. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software. Education and Experience: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration required. • Real Estate Brokerage experience preferred. Additional Position Information: • Equipment and subscriptions provided. • This employee is required to sign a non-compete agreement. • This employee is not permitted to sell real estate. • Monday – Friday, typically. • There are occasional after-hour and weekend events where attendance may be required. • 40 hours per week. • Time-Off: 15 Days (120 Hours). • Holidays: New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Memorial Day, July Fourth, Labor Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and one floating holiday. • Health, Dental, Vision, and Voluntary Insurance Plans are available through PEO. Compensation: $80,000 yearly
