  • Responsibilities

    The Controller will oversee the financial management of the firm, ensuring accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. This role is pivotal in shaping the firm’s financial strategy and optimizing processes for growth. The Controller will work closely with the firm’s leadership team to ensure financial goals align with our strategic vision. Responsibilities: • Manage and oversee all aspects of the firm’s accounting and finance operations. • Prepare financial statements, reports, and analyses for firm leadership and stakeholders. • Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance and optimize operations. • Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. • Collaborate with the owner to set financial goals and track the firm’s performance against these goals. • Oversee tax preparation, audits, and compliance reporting. • Implement and maintain accounting systems and software. • Provide financial guidance and recommendations to the firm’s leadership team. • Manage relationships with external vendors such as banks, auditors, and tax consultants. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in financial management, preferably in a law firm. • Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a leadership team. Compensation: $85,000 - $95,000
