    Job Summary:

    SumBridge is hiring a Controller to join our Bellevue based manufacturing client. The Controller will lead an accounting team and manage the accounting and finance functions of the company including; regular accounting activities, financial systems and planning, and mentorship of accounting staff. This is a Hybrid work environment, the role is a permanent/direct hire position, offers excellent benefits, and competitive compensation.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Administration of general accounting systems/processes to provide accurate real time reporting
    • Maintain typical activity associated with financial and income statements, balance sheet, general ledger, cash position, AP, AR, inventory valuation, bank statement reconciliation, tax reporting, credit and collection, project tracking and special reporting etc
    • Administration of financial planning process to maintain financial baseline, accurate real time

      projections

    • Development, implementation and improvement to Financial and Accounting Systems
    • Compliance with applicable local, state and federal laws including GAAP
    • Administration and support of payroll, HR policies, 401K plan, health benefits, corporate insurance policies, facility lease and other agreements etc
    • Personnel and staff recruitment and development as required
    • Participation in Corporate Strategic Planning Process
    • Department and/or Project budget management may be required
    • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills which requires independent analysis and judgment along with ability to lead problem resolution and implementation of corrective action
    • Effective interface and influence within and outside of the organization
    • Ability to be self-managed in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision
    • General PC skills utilizing corporate level systems and various SW applications
    • Requires thorough knowledge of company business processes, policies and procedures
    • Participate collaboratively with other team members
    • Support the implementation of the corporate vision, mission and shared values

    Job Qualifications:

    • BA, BS or similar. CPA, CMA, CFM, CGMA or MBA preferred.
    • 10 years of progressive responsibilities
    • Supervisory and leadership experience desirable.
    • Working knowledge of information systems components and structure
    • Advanced Excel skills and general Office applications.
    • Experience with ERP system management preferred.
    • Experience with report writing in Crystal Reports preferred.
