As we expand our use of AI-driven automation, we are seeking a Conversational AI Developer to enhance our customer interactions through advanced AI chatbots, voice assistants, and NLP-based solutions.
About the Role: We are looking for a Conversational AI Developer to design, develop, and optimize AI-driven chatbot and voice assistant solutions. This role involves leveraging Natural Language Processing (NLP), Machine Learning (ML), and Large Language Models (LLMs) to improve customer support, automate processes, and create seamless conversational experiences.
This is an onsite position based in Pleasanton, CA.
Your Impact:
AI Chatbot & Virtual Assistant Development
Design and develop AI-powered chatbots and voice assistants to improve customer interactions.
Implement and optimize Natural Language Processing (NLP) models for conversational AI.
Develop multi-channel conversational experiences, including web, mobile, and voice-enabled platforms.
Integrate AI solutions with existing CRM, support systems, and Vagaro's SaaS platform.
Machine Learning & NLP Optimization
Train, fine-tune, and optimize Large Language Models (LLMs) for improved user responses.
Implement sentiment analysis, intent recognition, and entity extraction to enhance conversational accuracy.
Continuously improve chatbot performance using data-driven insights and AI model training.
Automation & System Integration
Develop AI-driven automation to streamline customer support, scheduling, and transaction processing.
Integrate chatbot functionality with third-party APIs, payment gateways, and support ticketing systems.
Ensure seamless handoff between AI and human agents for complex inquiries.
Testing, Compliance, & Performance Optimization
Conduct rigorous testing and validation to ensure AI responses align with business goals and customer needs.
Optimize conversational flows, reducing errors, latency, and response time.
Ensure AI solutions comply with data privacy, security, and ethical AI standards.
What You Bring:
3+ years of experience in Conversational AI, NLP, or chatbot development.
Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or similar languages for AI model development.
Experience with AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Dialogflow, Rasa, or OpenAI API.
Strong knowledge of Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques like tokenization, named entity recognition, and sentiment analysis.
Experience integrating chatbots with CRM, databases, APIs, and cloud platforms.
Understanding of machine learning model training, fine-tuning, and performance evaluation.
Ability to analyze user interactions and improve conversational AI using real-time analytics.
Strong problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
Nice to Have
Experience with voice assistants (Alexa, Google Assistant, etc.).
Familiarity with multi-turn dialogue management and contextual AI.
Background in SaaS, customer support automation, or AI-driven UX.
