SUMMARY
The cook is responsible for wowing our guests with delicious and timely prepared food. They work as a team to prepare and cook food for our 400-person Beer Hall, ensuring all food served meets the Boulevard standard of quality and craftsmanship. We are hiring both Part-Time and Full-Time cooks.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare food for daily service
Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies
Handle equipment, appliances, small wares, supplies, and tools
Cook menu items in cooperation with rest of kitchen staff
Process and manage food tickets ensuring that food comes out simultaneously, in a high quality and timely fashion
Report equipment and menu issues to management
Clean up stations and take care of leftover food
Wash dishes used in kitchen throughout the day
Stock inventory appropriately
Comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards
Follow all opening and closing instructions
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
Proven working experience as a cook in a professional kitchen
Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
Familiar with industry’s best practices
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Strong alignment to company culture and values
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, works well in a team
Will be required to have food handlers license
Weekend work required
