    JOB DESCRIPTION: COOK

    Job Overview - The purpose of this position is to interact with our front of house employees and guests at Burger Theory®. Burger Theory Cooks are responsible for positive interactions while accurately creating and presenting menu items correctly in a friendly and efficient manner.

    Job Qualifications

    Friendly and outgoing personality with the ability to engage in conversation Must speak English and be able to write basic English

    Food handler card such as Serv Safe General Responsibilities

    Greet fellow employees in a positive manner.

    Learn and follow the required recipes in order to present food in a consistently appetizing manner.

    Assist with the cleaning of and putting away of dishes.

    Complete all opening and closing work as listed on checklists.

    Follow all state and local health and sanitation laws while working in the kitchen.

    Assist in the set up and tear down of manager receptions or banquet events if needed.

    Assist all Front of House employees in creating a positive, memorable experience for

    the guest.

    Table touch, when appropriate, in a clean chef coat to engage with guests one on one to ensure their complete satisfaction with the meals.

    Accept and properly put away incoming deliveries. Discretion This position does represent the company in handling complaints, arbitrating disputes or resolving grievances. As a Burger Theory Cook, you will be expected to work with guests and visitors to ensure their complete satisfaction. A Burger Theory Cook will have to take initiative and get creative in resolving guest challenges and involve a supervisor only when previous methods have been unsuccessful.
