    About Us:

    Roll and Co. is an up in coming dynamic and innovative Vietnamese quick service restaurant located in the heart of Brea Mall’s food court. We take pride in offering fresh and flavorful Vietnamese spring rolls made with high-quality ingredients in a fast and interactive dining experience. As we continue to grow and expand, we are seeking a skilled and passionate Cook to join our culinary team.

    Position Overview:

    The Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking components of our signature spring rolls and other menu items with precision and efficiency. This position requires a strong independent individual able to manage their time and flow.

    Responsibilities:

    • Prepare and cook a variety of menu items, including components of the Vietnamese spring rolls, drink preparation, and more

    • Follow recipes and portion guidelines to ensure consistency and quality of food products

    • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including proper storage and labeling of ingredients

    • Monitor food supplies and order ingredients as needed to maintain inventory levels

    • Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards at all times, including proper food handling and storage procedures

    • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations during peak hours

    • Assist with opening and closing duties, including setup and breakdown of cooking stations

    • Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the overall success of the restaurant

    Qualifications:

    • Previous experience as a cook or line cook in a fast-paced restaurant environment

    • Strong culinary skills with a focus on Vietnamese cuisine preferred, but not required

    • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices

    • Ability to work effectively in a team setting and communicate clearly with all staff

    • Strong organizational and time management skills

    • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

    • Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds

    • ServeSafe or Food Handler’s Certification
