  • Responsibilities

    Slice House by Tony Gemignani is seeking skilled and dedicated Cooks/BOH Team Members to join our culinary team. The Cook will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals following company recipes and standards while maintaining cleanliness and efficiency in the kitchen. This role plays a key part in delivering an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Meal Preparation

    • Prepare and cook dishes according to standardized recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards.
    • Ensure food is cooked to proper temperatures and meets quality standards.

    2. Kitchen Operations

    • Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies before each shift.
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout the shift.
    • Assist with inventory management, including receiving and storing supplies.

    3. Compliance

    • Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling, storage, and labeling of ingredients.
    • Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

    4. Team Collaboration

    • Work effectively as part of a team, communicating needs and feedback to colleagues and supervisors.
    • Assist with special events, catering, and menu planning as needed.

    5. Continuous Improvement

    • Participate in training sessions to enhance cooking skills and stay updated on kitchen trends.
    • Suggest improvements to recipes or operations to optimize efficiency and quality.

    Qualifications:

    • Proven experience as a cook or in a similar role.
    • Knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
    • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
    • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
    • Certification in food safety and handling (preferred).
