    Job Description

    Door-to-Door (D2D) Sales Interns work in assigned territories to sell pest, termite and mosquito control services via door-to-door interactions. Their goal is to grow new accounts by educating potential customers on the benefits of Cook’s Pest Control services, which should lead to customer acquisition.

    This is a temporary position that has the potential to develop into a permanent position, which would include a variety of job duties in preparation for a supervisory or management role. Working hours will be scheduled during peak periods and pay will be on an hourly and commission basis.

    Specific Duties Include:

    • Work closely with VP, Sales/D2D Sales Manager in developing sales campaigns to target specific emerging growth areas.
    • Personally initiate and follow up on D2D sales campaigns that lead to the sale of various services.
    • Work with district offices as needed on additional creative sales requiring dedicated creative efforts.
    • Perform other duties relating to residential sales as deemed necessary by the VP/D2D Manager/Regional Sales Manager.
    • Travel regularly in the field, calling on prospective customers that fit the company client model.
    • Ensure price of services and products are aligned with listed company pricing schedule or approved D2D sales pricing.
    • Correspond with districts management, customers, technicians, and prospects via phone, email, or SMS text.
    • Contact customers for updated account information, update customer and sales records, and update CRM (Pipedrive) and ServicePro.
    • Saturday and evening work may be required at times.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Some Sales experience is helpful, but not necessary (Training will be provided)

    • High School Diploma or GED

    • Valid Driver’s License

    • Ability to utilize proper grammar and punctuation when writing

    • Perform math computations

    • Excellent communication skills

    • Professional appearance and ability to adhere to Cook’s grooming policy
