    Job Description: As an entry-level commercial kitchen technician, you will be responsible for assisting in installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial kitchen equipment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to learn and develop their skills in a dynamic and growing field. You will work closely with experienced technicians to gain hands-on experience and receive comprehensive training on a wide range of commercial kitchen equipment, including ovens, refrigerators, dishwashers, and more.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Assist in installing and setting commercial kitchen equipment, ensuring proper functionality and compliance with safety standards.

    Perform routine maintenance and inspections on kitchen appliances, identifying potential issues before they become significant problems.

    Troubleshoot and repair various kitchen equipment types under senior technicians' guidance, using essential tools and diagnostic equipment.

    Follow all safety protocols and company procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

    Maintain accurate records of work performed, repairs, and parts used.

    Communicate effectively with clients and team members, providing clear and concise information about equipment status and any required repairs.

    Support senior technicians with special projects and larger installations, gaining exposure to more complex tasks and systems.

    Qualifications:

    Basic knowledge of tools and mechanical aptitude.

    Commercial kitchen experience is a plus but not required.

    Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced technicians.

    Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

    Good communication and customer service skills.

    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    High school diploma or equivalent.

    Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

    Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

    Ability to stand, walk, and reach for extended periods

    Comfortable working in varying conditions, including hot, cold, and noisy environments.

    Manual dexterity and ability to use hand tools and power tools.
