    Job Description

    Role Summary:

    NBCU’s Filmmaker & Content Strategies team has an opportunity for a Coordinator to support the Vice President, Filmmaker & Content Strategies and the Director, Filmmaker & Content Strategies. Filmmaker & Content Strategies is aligned with Production Development to partner with filmmakers, producers and development executives to increase the Studio’s inclusive pool of breakout talent and be a resource to content creators in embracing NBCUniversal’s commitment to authentic storytelling across Universal Pictures, Focus Features and DreamWorks Animation.

    Responsibilities:

    Essential Responsibilities:

    • GENERAL ADMININSTRATIVE – Filing executive travel & expense reports; Timely preparation and processing of invoices, timecards, expense reports, etc.
    • CALENDAR MAINTENANCE – Scheduling general and follow up meetings, events and maintain both executives’ calendars are up to date and ensuring executives timely participation and communicating updates
    • MEETING PREP/POSTMORTEM – Provide meeting information and prep material; create meeting agendas; take copious meeting notes when requested, identifying action items and keeping executives on track to complete needed action.
    • PROJECT COORDINATION – Support the coordination and execution of above-the-line talent initiatives (writers, directors, on-screen and voiceover talent, etc.) from ideation to launch including but not limited to brainstorm and meeting notes, drafting applications, creating timelines and checklists for execution
    • EVENT COORDINATION – Organize logistics for hosted panels, screenings and other events.
    • PRESENTATION DESIGN – Design and create PowerPoint presentations, one-sheets/decks; collect data, secure artwork
    • DATABASE MANAGEMENT & TRACKING – Maintain, update and contribute on an ongoing basis for talent tracking and content notes; Ensure all contact lists are updated; track submissions and talent deliverables; Maintain proper recordkeeping and filing system for all work
    • TRAVEL COORDINATION – Booking any domestic and international travel, securing cars, accommodations, event panels, meetings, and/or reservations; build detailed travel itineraries
    • CONTENT SUPPORT – Review scripts, cuts, marketing materials, casting breakdowns etc.
    • Additional duties and projects as assigned
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Basic Qualifications:

    • 3+ years industry experience – film, TV, agency, studio, production company, etc.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and advanced PowerPoint as well as Adobe Photoshop and PDFs; Canva

    Desired Characteristics:

    • Familiar with social media platforms and influencers
    • Organic lens for inclusive talent and storytelling
    • Familiar or knowledge of competitive studio talent programs and initiatives

    Additional Requirements:

    • *  **Hybrid** : This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
      
      • This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
