    Job Description

    The Global Photography Team helps bring global marketing campaigns to life by being a lifeline to multiple different divisions across Universal’s Filmed Entertainment Group. The LA based Global Photography Team is looking for a Coordinator who is passionate about photography, movies and visual art and is eager to work in the fast paced and exciting world of Global Marketing. Working alongside the best of the best, the Coordinator, Global Photography will work hand-in-hand with the team on the front lines of marketing campaigns, seeing imagery on 30+ titles a year in advance and interacting with almost every department globally, including working LA based premieres/events during a very exciting time.

    Essential Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate with VP, Global Photography, Senior and Junior Photography editors on photo requests, approvals, call sheets and materials
    • Create and maintain ID sheets for all titles, including acquisitions
    • Accomplish selected image work (minor pulls, watermarking, cropping, PDF creation) when necessary
    • Handle all departmental billing (invoices/POs/photographer time cards etc.) and work closely on budgets with entire team and finance department
    • Coordinate image materials for image.net and UPI Media globally
    • Oversee LA premiere/event photographer RSVPs and onsite duties as required
    • Assists with special events, tour photography, and photoshoots as needed from LA
    • Work closely with Universal internal Digital Asset Management team
    • Assist with archiving and internal meeting materials
    • Research reference materials and prospective photographers
    • Maintain working database of unit and special shoot photographers
    • Track serviced imagery globally with VP and Senior/Junior Editor input
    • Help maintain interdepartmental relationships across all Universal groups globally
    • Keep informed on new processes for departmental efficiency
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 1 year of experience in entertainment industry
    • Baseline/novice understanding of Photoshop, Bridge, Lightroom and novice knowledge of edit, adjust, crop and caption functions
    • Basic knowledge of Mac software and familiarity with Microsoft Programs (Outlook/Word/Excel/PowerPoint)

    Desired Characteristics:

    • Basic knowledge of studio photo departments or other related high-performance photo service organizations
    • Basic experience and knowledge of photography and associated materials
    • Knowledge of event, unit, and red-carpet photographers a plus (not required)
    • Ability to handle multiple projects at once while meeting constantly changing deadlines.
    • Consummate team player with commitment to excellence who instills confidence in others
    • Ability to work with individuals of all levels of the organization

    Additional Requirements:

    Hybrid : This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

    _ Salary range: $52,000.00 - $66,560.00 (not bonus eligible)_
