ROLE SUMMARY:
The Coordinator is an organized and flexible individual who supports the People/HR function with a variety of projects. These include, but aren't limited to, company events, employee onboarding, systems mgmt, scheduling, etc. The ideal candidate is a stellar communication, has strong project management instincts, solid attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.

WHO YOU ARE: (QUALIFICATIONS)
The must haves:
- College degree or equivalent work experience
- 1-3 years of administrative work
- Basic project management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Organized, detail oriented and punctual
- Solid research capabilities to understand compliance
- Skilled with learning new technology/software
- Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Suite)
- Able to work and thrive in a fast-paced, regularly changing environment
- Team player
- Professional, ethical, discreet
The nice-to haves:
- 1-3 years of general HR experience a plus
- Previous experience with HR tech platforms (HRIS, ATS, LMS) a plus
- Experience or knowledge of the cannabis industry a plus
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: (ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES)
- Manage a variety of administrative duties to support all HR/People operations (communications, scanning, e-filing, scheduling, tracking, etc.)
- Support recruiting and onboarding
- Assist with planning and execution of company events
- Collaborate with Payroll Manager to:
- Support benefits administration
- Provide backup on payroll
- Assist with HRIS management
- Compliance maintenance
- Coordinate trainings and document participation/compliance
- Track write-ups, performance reviews, feedback, etc. and follow-up with managers
- Research various legal regulations/compliance and provide summary reports
- Support compliance related activities
- Develop and manage HR reports, data and analytics

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Clear vision, hearing and speech
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Able to work on a computer for 8+ hours
- Able to move files, boxes and supplies periodically
- Able to provide site tours to candidates and employees
- Comfortable in a variety of environments including office, warehouse and occasionally field operations (may include significant temperature changes from hot to very cold)
