    Job Description

    ** Role Summary:**

    We are seeking a detail oriented, results-driven Human Resources Coordinator to provide HR support to the Corporate Functions HR team and client groups across NBCUniversal. The ideal candidate will be team oriented, and customer focused, with a desire to play a critical role in projects and initiatives that align with business objectives. The HR Coordinator will perform a broad range of client support activities including employee interaction, Human Resources administration, and project work. This position is also responsible for interfacing and problem solving with several business partners such as Talent Acquisition, Finance, Benefits, Payroll, HR Operations, etc. This position will manage administrative and coordination support for the team including strategic HR initiatives, workflow forms, and SAP updates. This role will report directly into the Sr. Manager, HR - Corporate.

    ** Responsibilities:**

    Recruiting, Staffing & Onboarding

    • Prepare job descriptions for open positions and route to TA with appropriate job details
    • Facilitate the new hire onboarding process from end-to-end, including processing background checks
    • Process new hires in SAP and complete I-9 verifications for new employees
    • Partner with hiring manager to ensure a smooth new hire experience

    HR Processes & Data

    • Own and project manage roll up reports and requests for Corporate Staff Functions
    • Process and manage HRIS transactions for employee lifecycle data changes (including hires, personal data changes, compensation, leaves of absence, promotions, terminations, etc.) via SAP
    • Serve as primary user for all HR systems: SAP, SmartRecruiters, Click Boarding, TimeKeeper, Sterling etc.
    • Run reoccurring and ad hoc reports and analyze HR metrics on attrition, performance, diversity, etc.
    • Liaise with business partners including Payroll, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Compensation and Finance in order to field questions and resolve day to day employee issues
    • Assist with annual processes (performance review process, salary planning, benefits open enrollment, etc.)
    • Keep apprised & updated on new regulations, company policies & procedures
    • Participate in various HR projects and initiatives including training planning and implementation, succession and compensation planning

    Client Service

    • **** Respond to routine HR questions including, but not limited to benefits, payroll, vacation or redirect employees to appropriate contacts
    • Deliver high client service by offering solutions and effectively problem-solving questions or concerns raised by clients
    • Act as the primary liaison with several HR departments including Payroll and Benefits, to manage and resolve day to day employee issues

    Reporting/Administrative

    • Provide assistance across the Corporate Staff Functions team on projects, initiatives, and assignments
    • Run weekly, monthly and quarterly ad hoc reports from applicable HR systems (SAP, Business Warehouse Report, etc.)
    • Create and maintain employee files and provide administrative HR support
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Basic Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
    • 1+ year of HR or related experience in meeting fast-paced employee based or client needs
    • Intermediate to advanced user of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook

    Eligibility Requirements:

    • Must be willing to work overtime when required
    • Must be willing to travel for work-related business as necessary

    • Someone with a strong interest in a career in Human Resources and the media industry
    • Experience with HR information **** systems, such as SAP, Business Warehouse Reporting, etc

    Additional Requirements:

    • ​​​​​​​ Hybrid : This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the New York City office a minimum of three days per week.

    This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
