Job Description

Duties:

·         Answer incoming phone calls and direct/handle as needed.

·         Process incoming orders via email, electronic date interface (EDI), and phone.

·         Call customers for their orders and process as needed.

·         Assist making delivery appointments and dock times.

·         Work with AR/AP department assist with scanning documents, sending emails, mailings.

·         Process customer Pick Tickets and forward to the production department.

·         Process Sales Orders and assemble for delivery.

·         Double check Pick Tickets and Sales Orders for accuracy in piece counts and pricing.

·         Assist the Office and General Managers as needed.

Experience, Skills & Qualifications:

·         Good oral and written communication skills.

·         Proficient computer, keyboard, and software skills.  Should be functional in Microsoft Word, Excel, &/or similar programs.

·         Possess both personal and professional organizational skills.

·         Works well independently and does not require supervision to execute the tasks at hand.

·         Works well with others.

·         Capable of and enjoys multi-tasking.

·         Experience dealing with customer service matters.  Able to speak with customers professionally and achieve a successful outcome.

Requirements:

·         A high school diploma or equivalent.

·         Demonstrable computer and software skills.

·         Work experience or the ability and interest to learn the tasks and skills needed for success.

·         Reliable transportation or access to public transportation.

·         Punctuality: being here when scheduled and as needed.
