Currently, we seek a COMPOUNDER II at our Grand Rapids location who will operate chemical process equipment to produce products to meet GMP, product specifications and/or quality standards for our Grand Rapids facility.  As a COMPOUNDER II, you will:

• Maintain a working knowledge of Good Manufacturing and Chemical Safety Practices
• Complete documentation in a timely and accurate fashion, including maintenance of batch records and cleaning/equipment logs
• Safely handle hazardous substances, as required
• Operate and perform basic maintenance of mix tanks, coating equipment, extrusion/rewind systems, and other auxiliary equipment
• Lead and implement training of coworkers, as requested
• Participate on the Continuous Improvement Team, as requested

We believe a COMPOUNDER II will be set up for success if they are an independent self-motivator with a high level of attention to detail.  We also see them as an excellent communicator who possess the following:

• High school diploma or GED – required
• Minimum of 2 – 5 years’ experience in chemical mixing, coating, or extrusion environment – required
• GMP experience – required
• Ability to use/read measuring devises and enter data onto appropriate documentation – required
• Basic math skills for computing yields and other calculations – required
• Proven record of accurate documentation – required
• Ability to follow written instructions and procedures - required
• Strong team player with good interpersonal skills – required
• Experience working with hazardous materials – preferred
