    Job Description

    Working closely with LGC Group’s largest strategic partner, driving strategic sales into end user clinical diagnostics laboratories and network laboratories across the United States (US). Primarily focusing on our Quality Controls (QC) portfolio; including Multichem®.

    This role requires a candidate with strong IVD account management and/or strategic partnership expertise and will require a strong understanding of the Biochemistry & Immunoassay markets. . A team player with strong organisational skills and project management skills, client communications, client management and service, product expertise, and critical thinking. This role requires the candidate to travel up to 60% including overnight (domestically).

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manages and achieves sales targets for LGC Groups largest strategic partner, by leading a strategic sales process, accountable for revenue, margin and unit goals.
    • This role will require networking at various levels within targeted client organizations from C-level executives laboratory scientists.
    • Performs sales analysis and builds out near, mid & long term forecast models
    • You will be key in defining overall strategy with our No.1 strategic partner, developing a road map to capture key new products, opportunities, presenting proposals and managing senior level negotiations and contract agreements.
    • Driving business reviews with our strategic customer, presenting current business performance, growth areas and key projects, enabling future partnership growth.
    • Primary sales contact for our corporate account, owning key commercial communications. Support the sales organization during the sales process as the primary sales resource
    • The corporate account manager will be tasked with leading all aspects of a sales process that involves collaboration with various teams and necessitates effective project management.
    • Manage and communicate customer demand and liase with internal production on priorities & delivery expectations.
    • Coordinate product delivery requirements between the customer and production.
    • Assist in developing strategies for New Product Development pipeline and reviews.
    • Drive international brand awareness including but not limited to global roadshows and tradeshows.

    Knowledge, Experience, and Technical Skills

    Required:

    • 5+ years’ experience in a IVD related sales management role.
    • A strong connection to US end user diagnostic labourites and networks is helpful.
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Med Tech, or a related biomedical scientist field such as clinical biochemistry, or equivalent experience will be considered.
    • Biochemistry & Immunoassay expertise is critical.
    • US citizenship or the right to work in the US.
    • A standout colleague, who can partner closely with our strategic alliances.
    • Strong communication skills inc. presentation, including to senior level.
    • Advanced Excel and finance skills to support with sales forecasting.
    • Strong project management experience.
    • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
