We are adding to our high-performing paralegal team and need a dedicated experienced Corporate Compliance Paralegal to support our Legal department, managing business needs and internal policies. Our ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter with the confidence to jump in and figure out new assignments.

    Responsibilities:

    Develop, implement, and oversee corporate compliance programs and policies to ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations

    Provide legal advice and support on compliance-related matters, and contracts, including regulatory requirements, risk management, and internal policies

    Conduct regular audits and reviews of company operations to identify potential compliance risks and recommend corrective actions

    Investigate compliance breaches or violations, prepare detailed reports, and liaise with regulatory agencies as needed

    Draft, review, and update company policies and procedures to remain current and compliant with legal requirements

    Work closely with various departments to ensure compliance integration into business practices and support the development of new initiatives

    Requirements:

    High school diploma or equivalent

    5-7 years of experience working in either a law office or a corporate environment in a similar role

    Strong understanding of corporate compliance, regulatory frameworks, and risk management

    Familiarity with annual reporting, certificates of good standing, governmental applications, company formation and maintenance, state forms, and tax reporting

    Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

    Professional analytical, organizational, and communication skills

    Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity

    Experience with corporate compliance, employment, franchise, mergers and acquisitions, tax or transactional law experience is a plus

    Paralegal certification is preferred
