    We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Corporate Finance Analyst to join our dynamic team in the Corporate Finance division of our global investment banking and financial services firm. As a Corporate Finance Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the strategic financial decisions of the firm and its clients, including financial modeling, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. You will be exposed to a variety of high-impact projects, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), capital raising, and other corporate finance advisory services.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and maintain financial models to support decision-making, including valuation analysis, discounted cash flow (DCF), precedent transactions, and comparable company analysis.
    • Assist in the creation and management of financial forecasts, business plans, and budgets. Monitor performance against budget and assist in variance analysis.
    • Support the evaluation of potential M&A opportunities, including due diligence, financial analysis, and modeling.
    • Prepare client-facing presentations, including board decks, pitch books, and financial summaries for potential and existing clients.
    • Conduct industry and market research to provide relevant financial insights and support strategic decision-making for clients.
    • Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial reports, ensuring data integrity and accuracy across all financial documents and models.
    • Work closely with senior bankers, clients, and other departments to contribute to ongoing corporate finance initiatives and client engagements.
    • Provide analytical support for ad-hoc financial queries, strategic initiatives, and investment opportunities as needed.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. An MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA) is a plus.
    • 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or financial consulting. Previous experience with financial modeling and analysis in a corporate finance or M&A environment is highly preferred.
    • Solid understanding of financial statements, corporate finance principles, and valuation techniques.
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis.
    • Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively across different departments.
