    COLSA Corporation is seeking candidates for a summer intern to support our Corporate IT Department!
    This exciting opportunity will afford the candidate selected to work within a corporate IT environment supporting over 1500 employees and over 300 desktops! Candidate selected will learn from seasoned professionals about various topics such as desktop support, server support, enterprise networking, account administration and overall IT security.

    Desktop support

    • System imaging
    • User migrations
    • Asset mgmt and tracking
    • Security config
    • Laptop config

    Account Administration

    • RSA multi-factor token management
    • Active Directory administration

    Required Skills

    Required Experience

    • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
    • Must currently be enrolled in pursuit of an undergraduate degree with a focus related to information technology/IT
    • Must be willing and able to relocate to Huntsville, AL at his/her own expense for duration of internship
    • Working knowledge of desktop applications including word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs
    • Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
    • US Citizenship required. Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Previous or demonstrated experience on projects related to IT
    • Prior experience with concepts, systems and tools used in desktop support & IT ticketing

  • Qualifications

    KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

    • Demonstrated knowledge of char-grill, range, steamer, salamander, fryers, and oven use.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of knife and culinary skills.
    • Knowledge of basic butchering of meat and fish, salad, and cold food preparation.
    • Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
    • Ability to adjust to and manage change effectively.
    • Must be dependable, timely and have high attention to detail.
    • Previous working knowledge of Point of Sales (POS) system preferred.
    • Ability to work in a professional high-pressure environment while demonstrating and maintaining good personal relation/people skills and a positive attitude.
    • Must be able to work flexible hours during the day or evening including weekends, holidays, and all blackout dates.
