The Corporate Recruiter and HR Generalist will participate in firm-wide HR projects as a member of our HR Team. This role is 100% in-office due to the collaborative nature.
The Job Essentials:
_ **Talent Acquisition & Management/Corporate Recruiting ******_
- Ensure all candidates are both technically skilled for the role, as well as a culture fit.
- Partner with hiring managers to discuss and understand staffing needs, the specific scope of open positions (ensuring they are advertised accurately and updating as needs change) and advise on the best hiring strategy and what to expect throughout the sourcing process.
- Source candidates through a variety of search resources (social media - LinkedIn, internal database, job boards (LinkedIn, ZipRecruiter, etc), networking, internet searches, competitor company target list, referrals, colleges, cold calls, etc.
- Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting and job postings (including professional networking sites that are industry specific).
- Identify and assess a diverse qualified candidate pool; manage candidates through the end to end recruiting process.
- Manage and maintain active pipeline of potential candidates for current and future job openings.
- Conduct detailed, thorough candidate interviews and present qualified candidates to the Hiring Manager for further consideration.
- Arranges Hiring Manager interviews as requested using Outlook to track availability.
- Handle full-cycle recruitment tasks including tracking all recruiting efforts, reference checks, screening candidates, and quality communication to continually inform candidates throughout the hiring process to ensure a great candidate experience.
- Obtain immediate feedback to understand the needs of the position and obtain feedback on candidates presented.
- Maximize and support the use of the company’s defined recruiting practices and applicant tracking system (ATS). Evaluate methods to improve and influence the effectiveness of selection processes.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers to ensure BKM recruits and hires exceptional and diverse talent.
- Manage all internal candidates through the recruitment/hiring process.
- Sourcing and hiring candidates for Internship Program and maintain pipeline of potential candidates.
- Monitor and ensure the organization's compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; review and modify policies and practices to maintain compliance as it relates to recruiting.
Employee Relations & HR Administration
- Maintain all new hire paperwork including pre-employment, verifications, and onboarding paperwork once hired.
- Manages pre-hire process inclusive of background checks, and other pre-employment testing.
- Assist with Benefit Open Enrollment process, including plan options, employee materials, etc.
- Assist and collaborate on matters pertaining to recruitment, orientation, employee relations, policy development, leadership development, and organizational learning.
- Assist with Human Resources personnel functions including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration.
- Handle full-cycle employee lifecycle tasks including new hire orientation, employee onboarding, promotions, transfers, and offboarding.
** Employee Engagement**
- Actively participate as a member of the Culture Committee
- Coordinate training programs that align with BKM goals and objectives.
- Support the motivation of talent through recognition, rewards program, and regular activities.
** Skills and Qualifications**
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a recruiter role
- 2 to 4 years’ experience as HR Generalist, a plus
- College degree preferred
- Human Resources Certification, such as HR Generalist, PHR or SHRM certified preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong time management skills and ability to multitask
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with aptitude to learn new software and systems
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent understanding of federal and multi-state employment and hiring laws (including but not limited to EEO and affirmative action guidelines and laws)
- HRIS experience is a plus
- Willing to travel up on occasion to regional sites, as needed
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality in all aspects of the job
