This position will maximize revenue, market share and profits for a portfolio of Hiton and Marriott franchise hotels through strategic coordination of revenue management processes and procedures. This role reports to the Corporate Director of Revenue Strategy, part of the Commercial Strategy team responsible for the development, implementation, evaluation and communication of all transient, group and contract pricing, inventory and distribution strategies for an assigned portion of Hospitality America's growing portfolio of hotels.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Revenue Strategy Development and Execution
· Sales Strategy Leadership: Lead weekly sales strategy meetings utilizing brand revenue systems and tools (e.g., One Yield, MRDW, Market Vision, OnQ R&I). Ensure alignment with hotel revenue goals and strategies.
· Segment Revenue Management: Drive topline revenue success by managing revenue by segment, implementing key initiatives for transient, group, and contract business.
· Daily Pickup and Demand Review: Conduct daily system reviews of pickup trends, turndowns, market pricing, inventory strategies, and demand pattern changes to adjust tactics proactively.
· Group Analysis: Execute displacement/replacement analysis for group bookings outside general parameters and provide actionable recommendations.
Market Intelligence and Analytics
· Market Trends and Local Economy: Maintain a strong understanding of local and national economic trends affecting travel patterns. For airport properties, assess passenger traffic monthly to identify demand shifts.
· Performance Reporting and Forecasting: Provide detailed forecast analyses, system demand critiques, and monthly evaluations of GDS performance through tools like Agency360+.
· Ecommerce and Channel Optimization: Ensure hotels are aligned with their e-commerce positioning (merchant, retail, opaque, bundled). Collaborate with e-commerce partners on SEO, PPC, and reputation management initiatives.
· Promotions and RFPs: Monitor channel-specific promotions and RFP processes, ensuring alignment with hotel strategies and timely execution.
Collaboration and Communication
· Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate demand changes, strategy adjustments, and market insights to General Managers, Sales Teams, and the VP of Operations.
· Team Relationships: Foster positive relationships with hotel leaders, corporate teams, and brand liaisons, providing guidance and insights for improved performance.
· Annual Marketing Plan Support: Assist in developing and monitoring the annual marketing plan, ensuring alignment with hotel-defined strategies and topline revenue goals.
Operational Excellence
· Package Creation and Community Partnerships: Support effective package creation, integrating local partnerships, value offerings, and seasonal demand generation strategies.
· Reservation and Segment Tracking: Review month-end reservations reports, PMS systems, and CRS data to ensure accuracy and identify opportunities for improvement.
· Event and Demand Calendars: Regularly update demand influencer and special event calendars, ensuring system forecasts and strategies remain relevant.
· Semi-Annual Property Visits: Conduct property visits to assigned hotels to assess, refine, and implement revenue strategies.
Monitoring and Evaluation
· System Performance Review: Analyze weekly and monthly STR reports with hotel revenue teams, critiquing current strategies and sales initiatives.
· Stakeholder Reporting: Provide detailed written reviews and analysis to key stakeholders, ensuring alignment and clarity in revenue management efforts.
· Group Data Accuracy: Ensure Delphi GRC totals are in parity with CRS group data, identifying and addressing variances with Directors of Sales.
