    Location: Houston, TX Company Description: Bayport Laboratories is a fast growing cosmetic (Skin care, Hair Care and Color Cosmetics) contract manufacturer based on Houston, Texas.

    Job Description: We are looking for a talented Process Engineer to join our cosmetics manufacturing team. The Process Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to ensure the highest quality and efficiency in our cosmetic products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemical engineering, experience in cosmetics or personal care product manufacturing, and a passion for innovation and process improvement. Responsibilities: • Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for cosmetics, ensuring product quality, efficiency, and safety. • Collaborate with R&D and product development teams to scale up new products from lab to production. • Design and implement equipment and process improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste. • Conduct process validation and qualification activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. • Identify and troubleshoot process issues, implementing corrective actions as needed. • Develop and maintain process documentation, including SOPs and batch records. • Provide technical support to production and quality teams, ensuring smooth operations and product quality. • Stay current with industry trends and best practices, implementing innovative technologies and methodologies to improve processes. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and innovation in product development and manufacturing. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field. Master's degree preferred. • 5+ years of experience in process engineering in the cosmetics or personal care product industry. • Strong knowledge of cosmetics manufacturing processes and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, GMP). • Experience with process scale-up and technology transfer from lab to production. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Must be bilingual in Spanish
