    Job Description

    SUMMARY :

    The Cost Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate and timely cost estimates and quotes for customer projects. This includes analyzing blueprints, drawings, specifications, and other data to determine the materials, labor, outside vendor requirements, and equipment necessary for production. Additionally, the Cost Estimator works closely with the engineering, quality, and planning to ensure that production processes are optimized for efficiency and quality. CoreDux USA capabilities include CNC Milling (5-axis, 4-axis, and 3-axis), CNC Turning, EDM, assembly, and hand finishing operations.

    ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Analyze blueprints, drawings, specifications, and other data to determine fit with CoreDux USA equipment and technical capabilities.
    • Summarize potential technical issues or discrepancies to be addressed internally and/or externally with customers.
    • Determine the required materials, labor, and outside vendor requirements.
    • Create product routings in ERP system including selecting equipment necessary for production and, in coordination with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams as necessary, define hours required for each operation.
    • Generate costing and pricing proposals; submit to customers as required.
    • Create manufacturing job traveler routings, review and submit to planning and manufacturing teams.
    • Follow safety procedures at all times.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education and/or experience.
    • Previous experience in a machining or fabrication environment.
    • Previous experience utilizing ERP system to generate product routings and costing.
    • Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
    • Self starter, with problem-solving ability.
    • Computer literate with proficiency in MS Office applications, and MS Windows.
    • Detailed oriented, systems oriented, and organized with good follow-up skills.
    • Must be able to handle multiple tasks concurrently, and meet deadlines in a changing environment
    • Operate with a sense of urgency and be a team player.

    This position is paying $66,000-$88,000 per year, based on experience.
