    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate PRP (Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program) Counselor to join our team. In this role, you will provide support and rehabilitation services to individuals with mental health challenges, helping them achieve their personal goals and improve their quality of life. You will work closely with clients to develop individualized rehabilitation plans, provide therapeutic interventions, and connect them with community resources. PRP counselors render individual and group services to adults and children in the home, community, and on-site environment. Counselors are responsible for implementing, documenting, and monitoring client progress towards their individualized rehabilitation plans.     Key Responsibilities:

    Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans based on clients' needs and goals.

    Provide one-on-one and group counseling sessions to support clients' mental health and well-being.

    Assist clients in developing skills for independent living, including social skills, coping strategies, and vocational training.

    Connect clients with community resources, such as housing, employment, and educational opportunities.

    Monitor clients' progress and adjust rehabilitation plans as needed.

    Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and progress.

    Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

    Advocate for clients' needs and rights within the community and mental health system.

    Qualifications:

    A high school diploma and a strong understanding of healthcare are required.

    Experience in mental health services, particularly in a rehabilitation or counseling role.

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

    Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently.

    Commitment to providing compassionate and high-quality care to clients.
