As a Legal Case Manager, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive support to our legal team, ensuring the smooth progression of cases from initiation to resolution. Your responsibilities will include managing case files and coordinating communication between clients and legal professionals. Client Interaction: • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, keeping them informed about the status of their cases. • Address client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally. • Obtain necessary information and documentation from clients, including updated injuries and a list of providers. Communication Coordination: • Facilitate communication between legal professionals, clients, and external parties. • Ensure timely sharing of information within the legal team and your attorney. • Draft, proofread, and edit legal documents, correspondence, and reports. Medical Management: • Collect all relevant medical records and bills. • Request billing ledgers, review outstanding balances, and list of providers. Ensure timely billing and/or a lien is in place. • Assist with resolving contractual issues with Medicare and Medicaid, etc. Collaboration and Team Support: • Work collaboratively with attorneys, paralegals, and other legal staff. • Attend team meetings and case review sessions to provide updates on case statuses. Qualifications: • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational abilities. • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. • Familiarity with various legal practice areas is a plus. • Good customer service skills. • General computer skills (working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook). • Experience in Personal Injury Law, medical, and/or insurance industries preferred. • Fluent Spanish/English speaking preferred. This Legal Case Manager position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to contribute to the success of our legal team and ensure the efficient handling of cases. Compensation: $22 - $25 hourly DOE
