    CRAWFORD’S SOCIAL is seeking a positive, customer-service orientated individual with proven staff management skills to join our growing management team. The General Manager is the head of the day to day operations and must be providing inspiration to a team that motivates them to work happier, harder and more effectively. This role requires a person who can lead a team focused on exceptional yet efficient hospitality while maintaining standards and increasing sales. ACCOUNTABLE TO: Chief Operations Officer, Ownership

    KNOWLEDGE:

    Thoroughly understand and perform all duties assigned to you by COO and Ownership

    Get familiar with and operate POS, phones and job specific systems.

    Working knowledge and service of menu items and beverage program.

    3-5 years restaurant management with 1-2 years in GM role.

    ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

    Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given attentive, friendly, and courteous service at all times.

    Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant’s recipes, portioning, cooking, and serving standards.

    Achieve company objectives in sales, service, quality, appearance of facility, sanitation, and cleanliness through training of employees and by creating a positive and productive working environment.

    Responsible for all restaurant inventories including food, liquor, beer, wine, furniture, accessories, equipment.

    Oversee that employee performance appraisals are followed and completed on a timely basis.

    Be knowledgeable of restaurant policies regarding personnel, and, administer prompt, fair, and consistent corrective action for any and all violations of company policies, rules, and procedures.

    Understand and comply with all federal, state, county and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety, and labor requirements of the restaurant, employees, and guests.

    Ensure all restaurant staff & management team members have necessary tools to perform daily duties.

    Ability to lift 30 lbs.

    Can stand for the duration of an 8 hour shift.

    UNIFORM: You must present yourself in a neat, clean, professional groomed manner (appropriate attire each shift, clean well-trimmed nails, good personal hygiene) Detailed attire requirements available upon hiring.
