Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Creative Director to lead our creative team in Edison, NJ. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a team-oriented approach, and the ability to balance creative vision with practical constraints. This role involves managing a diverse team of creatives and ensuring the seamless execution of projects from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Manage and inspire a team of 10+ members, including graphic designers, photographers, videographers, and copywriters.
- Creative Oversight: Direct the creative process from initial concept through to final execution, ensuring all deliverables align with brand standards.
- Project Management: Oversee the profitability, deliverables, timelines, and budgets of all creative projects.
- Collaboration: Work closely with various departments (e.g., Buying, Social Media/PR, Sales, R&D, Customer Service, Accounting) to meet their creative needs.
- Quality Control: Review and provide constructive feedback on creative work, troubleshoot issues, and ensure consistency across all visual communications.
- Strategic Planning: Present campaign strategies and solutions to upper management, contributing to the overall marketing strategy.
- External Collaboration: Coordinate with third parties for printed materials, video voice-overs, translations, 3D renderings, etc.
- Software Proficiency: Utilize tools such as Jira, IBS (XT Client), Photoshop, Adobe Suite, InDesign, Illustrator, Microsoft Office Suite, and others.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a creative leadership role.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a solution-driven mindset.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must be able to lift up to 20lbs and perform physical activities such as sitting for extended periods, climbing stairs, reaching, and bending.
- Must be 18 years or older, eligible to work in the US, and pass a background check.
Working Conditions:
- Work in a fast-paced office environment with occasional seasonal shift adjustments.
- Minimal travel may be required.
