    About the Role:

    We are seeking a visionary Creative Director with a diverse marketing background who can step beyond execution to see the big picture. This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on design and creativity across digital, print, video, and tradeshow assets. The ideal candidate will specialize in creative strategy while understanding broader marketing dynamics, inspiring a team, and stewarding client brands to success.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Creative Leadership:

    Develop and oversee the creative vision and strategy for various clients, ensuring alignment with brand identity and business goals.

    Consult with clients to lead discussions about visual creativity based on their goals and vision.

    Collaborate with junior designers, and contract creatives (designers, animators, videographers, developers, content writers) to bring projects to life and oversee execution.

    Mentor and develop the creative team, fostering growth, encouraging collaboration, and recruiting top talent to manage.

    Project Oversight:

    Manage all phases of creative development—from concept to execution—across platforms including digital, print, video, and tradeshows.

    Specifically, oversee website project management; collaborate with writers and developers to keep projects on track, ensure each stakeholder has what they need, and communicate effectively with clients.

    Effectively communicate reasonable expectations with the clients and the managed creative team.

    Ensure creative deliverables are on-brand, on-time, and exceed high-quality standards.

    Brand Stewardship:

    Act as guardian of each client’s brand, maintaining consistency and integrity across all touchpoints.

    Evolve brand identities to remain relevant and resonant in the marketplace.

    Upsell and recommend certain services the client needs to implement or is falling short of.

    Collaboration and Communication:

    Lead and partner with marketing, product, and leadership teams to translate business objectives into compelling creative strategies.

    Present ideas to stakeholders, articulating the rationale behind creative decisions in a thoughtful manner grounded in client goals.

    Communicate clearly across teams via email, Slack, meetings, and project management tools (e.g., monday.com).

    Innovation and Trends:

    Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and cultural shifts to bring fresh perspectives and ideas to the team.

    Grow an environment of experimentation and creative risk-taking through leadership and innovation.

    Hands-On, Tactical Design:

    In addition to strategic leadership, actively contribute to the creation of digital and print projects including social media content, website design, print materials, and tradeshow assets.

    Demonstrate mastery in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Figma, and presentation platforms (Microsoft PowerPoint/Google Slides).

    Develop high-fidelity wireframes in Figma and pass them on to the development team. Seeing the design portion through with the client from a hands-on perspective is a very necessary qualification.

    Day-to-Day Activities:

    Start the day by checking the calendar for meetings and preparing accordingly.

    Review incoming assignments on monday.com and organize tasks based on deadlines (short- and long-term).

    Check-in regularly with team members to ensure they have what they need to succeed.

    Review completed work, provide feedback, and outline the next steps.

    Design, design, design—active involvement in hands-on creative tasks.

    Engage in frequent communication via email and Slack to ensure alignment and progress.

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Fine Arts, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

    3+ years of leadership experience in a creative environment.

    A robust portfolio showcasing diverse and innovative creative work across multiple media.

    Proven ability to lead and inspire a creative team, managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

    Strong knowledge and implementation of Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Figma, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Google Slides.

    Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

    Strategic thinker with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for storytelling.
