As a member of our creative services department, you will collaborate closely with the Art Director and Designers to creatively adapt or transcreate English materialsinto Spanish and develop Spanish-language, culturally tailored communications, advertisements, and other communications pieces.
The preferred candidate has experience adapting financial services, education, healthcare and advertising concepts into Spanish, including a broad range of disclosures.
- Responsibilities:
- Write original and transcreate/adapt copy, edit, and proof promotional copy for ads, social, web, collateral, broadcast, radio, and other channels.
- Ensure consistency in brand tone, style, structure, and voice across all Spanish-language and bilingual communications.
- Collaborate with the Art Director and Designers to integrate compelling visuals with copy, creating culturally resonant and results-driven creative assets.
- Brainstorm and concept ideas with the Total Market Creative Director (English) to effectively adapt to Spanish and/or recreate in Spanish to effectively communicate the intended message.
Skills:
- A minimum of 5 years of proven work experience in a similar role, advertising or marketing environment, Multicultural Advertising expertise, Spanish
- Bilingual/Bicultural required
- Excellent Spanish writing and editing skills, a keen eye for detail.
- Exceptional proficiency in Spanish, style, syntax, grammar, etc.
- A portfolio showing various compelling creative ideas that work across multiple channels.
- Strong organizational skills and project management skills.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office or G-Suite, ASANA, or other project management programs.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines, juggle multiple projects, and work independently in a fast-paced office.
- Strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative agency environment with multi-disciplinary teams are essential.
