    JOB DESCRIPTION: Creative and Administrative Coordinator

    The Creative and Administrative Coordinator is a full-time position (min. 35 hours per week) as the primary assistant to the General Manager. This team member can participate in a variety of functions of the operation and will be cross-trained to be able to assist with different positions. This position also assists management with the marketing efforts and creative process. You will occasionally provide coverage at the retail shop reception desk and handle customer relations. The duties are varied and include: general administrative and office work such as filing, answering phones, running errands and keeping things organized. This is a great opportunity for someone who is creative, organized and loves food! (This job does not work remotely.)

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Provide general administrative support to General Manager and other Management Team members

    2. Assist with marketing and social media including creative work such as, simple design with user friendly applications, liaising with social media and e-commerce functions, managing photo data base

    3. Responsible for standard daily administrative tasks including filing, helping answer phones, running errands, keeping things organized

    4. Assist with Receptionist/Front desk operation at least one shift per week or as needed

    9. Strong computer and internet skills and firm understanding of Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace. Experience with Canva is a plus.

    Skills

    1. Computer proficient in: Microsoft: Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Google Workspace, Canva and Dropbox. Knowledge of Photoshop preferred. Also, the ability to learn other software programs quickly.

    2. Take initiative and work in a proactive rather than reactive manner.

    3. Ability to adapt to different and difficult situations as needed.

    Hours

    • 35-40 hours a week; Tuesday – Saturday will be the regular schedule.

    Compensation: $20-25/ hour, based on experience. 10 days of vacation accrued per year (accrual starts after 6 mos. Of employment). Free cooking classes.
