    JOB SUMMARY

    The Credit Assistant position is responsible for assisting the Credit Analyst by preparing spreadsheets and inputting various data that will aid the Analyst in evaluating the financial condition of businesses and associated individuals applying for credit with the bank.

    OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Tracks financial information and credit data for commercial loan customers.
    • Assists the Credit Analyst and Commercial Loan Processors to enable them to spend more time on other responsibilities.
    • Helps prepare various loan reports.
    • Assist with compliance reviews.
    • Assist with appraisal reviews as needed.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
    • Ability to actively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
    • Ability to calculate figures and amounts, such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages.
    • Must possess a solid understanding of Word and Excel and other technology utilized in the position.

    JOB TYPE: Part-Time, Non-Exempt, 26 hours per week

    WORK LOCATION: In person

    SCHEDULE: Day shift Monday through Friday, with some additional hours if needed
