This person is responsible for leading and supervising a team of lawn care workers, ensuring efficient and high-quality lawn maintenance services. They will manage daily workloads, train crew members, operate equipment, and interact with clients, all while adhering to safety standards and company policies.
Supervision and Leadership: Direct and supervise a crew of lawn care workers, ensuring they are properly trained, equipped, and motivated to complete tasks effectively. Task Management: Plan, schedule, and assign tasks to crew members by coordinating with the office staff, utilizing job scheduling applications or work orders. Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Operate and maintain various lawn care equipment, including mowers, trimmers, edgers, blowers, and other tools. Communicate with Maintenance staff to ensure equipment is ready to use. Client Interactions: Maintain positive relationships with clients, addressing their concerns, and providing excellent customer service. Communication: Communicate effectively with management, crew members, and clients, keeping them informed about schedules, changes, and any issues that arise. Documentation: Complete required paperwork, including timesheets, work orders, and safety records. Problem Solving: Identify and resolve issues that arise during the workday, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications:
Experience: Experience in lawn care maintenance and/or grounds keeping is preferred.
Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and supervise a team.
Equipment Proficiency: Ability to operate and maintain various lawn care equipment.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Safety Knowledge: Understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
