As an Attorney at MCDG, you will navigate complex criminal cases, provide strategic legal advice, and deliver compassionate client advocacy. Compensation- $90,000 to $130,000 yearly compensation and benefits package, commensurate with experience Responsibilities: • Represent clients in court hearings, trials, and depositions. • Conduct in-depth legal research and provide expert guidance to clients. • Draft contracts, pleadings, briefs, and appeals. • Negotiate settlements with strong advocacy and creative problem-solving skills. Qualifications: • Active and in good standing with the Maine State Bar (Federal Bar is a plus). • Willingness to apply for reciprocal admission to the Maine Bar if relocating. • 2+ years of proven experience in criminal law, including courtroom litigation. • Strong research, writing, and negotiation skills. • Client-centered approach: Compassion, connection, and clear communication. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a dynamic legal team. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. • High emotional intelligence and ability to maintain composure in challenging circumstances. • Strong ability to connect with clients and convey complex legal matters clearly. Compensation: $90,000 - $130,000 yearly + benefits DOE
