    Criminal Defense Attorney for a Fast-Growing, Compassionate Law Firm in San Luis Obispo We are seeking a Criminal Defense Attorney with 2-3 years of experience as a public defender, prosecutor, or private criminal defense attorney. The ideal candidate will be capable and committed to helping us realize our vision of healing lives and transforming justice. Although our work environment is thoroughly collaborative, being self-motivated as a practitioner is a must. With the practice being located on the central coast of California, residing in or around the San Luis Obispo Superior Court is both a fortunate benefit and necessary for those applying. Qualifications: • Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar. • 2-3 years of experience as a public defender, prosecutor, or private criminal defense attorney. • Has completed at least 5 jury trials to verdict. • Has litigated motions in court such as preliminary hearings and motions to suppress evidence. • Has excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Spanish. • Has excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Has the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a dynamic environment. • Can work effectively and collaboratively with other attorneys, private investigators, expert witnesses, and law firm support staff. • Is committed to personal growth and excited to receive and learn from feedback. • Is committed to providing the very best legal defense and treating everyone with compassion and decency. Compensation: $100,000 - $110,000 yearly
