Our law firm has a full-time associate attorney position available now and we’re looking for the right professional to join our team. You will have the opportunity to learn from senior associates and litigation associates on legal issues and will provide legal counsel to existing clients. You’ll also be responsible for performing legal research, drafting documents, keeping client files up to date, and significant courtroom time. Responsibilities: • Attend court hearings or other legal proceedings, perform legal research, and work with senior associate attorneys to provide legal advice • Maintain client files in an organized fashion to ensure up-to-date information is handy for other attorneys, paralegals and support staff • Collaborate with clients and senior associates and other staff to move cases toward resolution efficiently • Assist clients in determining a proper solution to legal conflicts and determine the best course of action • Prepare for and conduct criminal hearings and trials Qualifications: • Solid communication skills and problem-solving skills required in order to work with clients, staff members and senior attorneys • Active member of the American Bar Association (ABA) • Has a Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school • Successful completion of the bar exam • Ability to work with senior attorneys to best serve client needs and grow our client base • Be licensed in Georgia Compensation: $75,000 - $95,000 yearly
