    Crop Insurance Account Manager – Your Job Duties

    As a Crop Insurance Account Manager, you will work on a small team of Account Managers alongside a large team of insurance producers supporting crop and agricultural clients including almond growers, pasture, rangeland, forage and livestock clients.

    • Partners with insurance Producers to gather information and other supporting data to complete required applications, documents and reports for crop insurance clients
    • Assists with applications and producing necessary supplements and forms, reviewing all documents and policies for data and coverage accuracy
    • Administer applications, including production and acreage reporting by deadlines.
    • Prepare and send correspondence on all new and renewal policies to the client for various renewal periods throughout the year – you are in a high touch role talking with your clients a minimum of 2-3 times throughout the year
    • Report all new claims and manage ongoing claims as needed
    • Process policy cancellations and notify client
    • Thoroughly document accounts using the agency’s management system
    • Maintain working knowledge of crop insurance regulatory rules along with carrier regulations and policies

    Crop Insurance Account Manager - Required Skills, Experience & Culture Fit

    You have:

    • Prior experience in an insurance role supporting agricultural, crop or related clients
    • Excellent verbal and written team communication skills
    • Customer service focus – you pride yourself on going above and beyond for customer experience

    Crop Insurance Account Manager – Benefits & Pay for You

    Your compensation will be an hourly pay rate of $25 to $33, eligible for overtime (and anticipated especially during renewal periods). In addition, you will receive overtime pay every day if you elect to work a flexible work schedule, whereby you will work 8.2 hours per day and receive 1 day out of every 10 days off work.

    In addition, you are eligible for semi-annual incentive compensation based on individual and performance goals.
