The Operation Manager is a key part of the management team working closely with the General Manager by ensuring day-today operations run smooth & efficiently. You provide direction, instructions and guidance to team members. You maintain an atmosphere which is fun, welcoming & friendly while being detailed oriented, energetic, & passionate about health & fitness! You will deliver an amazing experience for all members & guests as well as set the example for other employees to follow.

Experience in management or operations
Strong customer service skills
Excellent communication
Sales and fitness background preferred
Current CPR/AED
Responsibilities
Maintain a high level of knowledge about the clubs programs, facilities, schedules & equipment
Manage all operational systems, processes and policies
Club scheduling, uploading to When I Work & labor edits
Responsible for club email accounts
Overseeing club maintenance & cleaning crew
Perform daily club walk through
Liaison for corporate accounts on a as needed basis
Ensure that all promotions are effectively communicated to members & guests
Membership Sales Presentations
Present personal training & group personal training packages to all guests during sales presentation when needed.
Participate in community outreach & marketing
Greet all members, guests & staff with a smile
Check in all members & guests in accordance with company procedures
Facilitate any messages on club software at member check-in
Answer phones in courteous, helpful, professional manner
Facilitate all member requests or forward to a General Manager
Maintain professional disposition at all times
Schedule member services: tanning, etc.
Facilitate payment of member services in accordance with company procedures
Maintain a clean & organized work area
Assist in all projects as delegated by club management
Follow all policies and procedures in the Employee Handbook
Follow all Opening and Closing duties
Participate in the general cleanliness of the club daily
Monthly or Weekly Department Meetings/Employee Training
