Job duties:
Sanitation- food safety kills in all aspects of the kitchen
Knife Skills- care of knives and basic knife cuts
Meat Preparation-basics if identifying, preparation and storage
Fruit and Vegetables-basics of identifying, preparation and storage
Presentation-applying finishes to meals for residents
Certification-achieving CFPM or Food Handler certification
Active Listening-Full ability to concentrate on what is being instructed
Culinary Math- Portion control to maintain consistency in production, and to compute food cost.
