    Job Description

    The Data Operations **** team, sitting within the Markets Division, handles the day-to-day processes of the entire suite of Curinos data products. The team collects data using various formats and methods, ingests the data, quality checks the data, and prepares the data for client consumption. Clients use the data to deliver the right product for the right price to the right customer at the right time via the right channel.

    The Process Development Manager is a new cross-functional role that will be crucial in ensuring data operations efficiency. They are responsible for identifying areas of improvement, implementing process enhancements, and monitoring performance to achieve operational excellence, business objectives, and delighted clients. As this is a cross-functional position, strong communication and team-building skills are critical.

    This Manager must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and with a team that includes a high percentage of remote employees.

    Process Management and Optimization:

    • Day-to-day oversight of multiple processes: monitor, report, and manage process controls.
    • Map and analyze existing business processes to identify inconsistencies, inefficiencies, and bottlenecks.
    • Define and recommend process improvements, automation, and best practices to streamline operations.
    • Continuously monitor and measure process performance for optimization.
    • Actively seek feedback from stakeholders and incorporate it into process enhancements.

    Process Documentation & Reporting:

    • Create and maintain detailed and up-to-date documentation of policies and processes.
    • Use process mapping tools to create detailed process flow diagrams, enabling clear communication and documentation of process enhancements.
    • Generate reports and present findings to management regarding process performance and quality assurance.

    Change Management:

    • Partner with Managers within individual data product lines to implement change projects from inception to completion, ensuring deadlines are met, and objectives received.
    • Create stakeholder buy-in and communicate changes effectively to team members to ensure a smooth execution.

    Quality Assurance:

    • Ensure that processes adhere to quality standards and compliance requirements.
    • Implement quality control measures to maintain process consistency and reliability.
    • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess process quality.

    Risk Management:

    • Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with process changes.
    • Develop contingency plans to address unexpected disruptions.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree required
    • 5 years change management experience in a data-driven environment
    • Knowledge, understanding, and passion for continuous improvement methodologies.
    • Excellent skills in presentation, facilitation, communication, conflict management and negotiation. ​
    • Able to lead conversation in an easy-to-understand way.

    This is a hybrid position, with the ideal candidate located near one of our regional hubs (New York or Chicago) and able to travel to an office as needed for working sessions or team meetings.

    Base Salary Range: $81,000 to $90,000 / bonus potential
