The Curriculum Consultant will work with new and existing franchisees to help prepare instructors for opening through in-water training. At school openings, the Consultant will observe, assist where necessary, and share lesson quality best practices.
The Curriculum Consultant will also research, develop, and deliver curriculum training pieces that help with lesson quality, lesson quality analysis and customer communication. The ideal candidate has a swimming background and/or Goldfish Swim School experience as well as a passion for water safety. This position requires travel.

Primary Responsibilities:
Perform in-water training at schools and support schools at KIP/Opening
Visits to schools that are underperforming and overperforming in lesson quality reviews
Observe classes
Conduct in-water curriculum checklists
Review
Provide feedback and training support
Monitor swim lesson quality and performance through department KPIs
Help identify curriculum refinements as necessary
Stay current with the latest research related to swimming curriculum and instruction
Develop and follow measurement systems to ensure accountability related to teaching outcomes desired
Monthly calls with assigned schools to discuss their current lesson quality challenges, curriculum training materials, and potential solutions
Contribute potential improvements in curriculum quality and teachability
Work collaboratively with the curriculum team to determine possible changes that meet the needs of students and instructors
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications
Support Science of Swim Play methodology
Work seamlessly with other departments in the organization to incorporate company values in learning and development materials

Must be able to travel to schools within a given region

Each Goldfish Swim School is an independently owned and operated franchise. The respective Franchisee is the employer at each Goldfish Swim School location.
